On June 30, Cynthia M. Gayton, Esq. spoke to the University of Maryland’s Product Management Event group, a collection of engineering and product management professionals (and me, a learning experience designer). I was drawn to this presentation because it spoke to my questions about AI as an emerging technology:<\/span><\/p>\n

What is artificial intelligence for me as a technology user?<\/span><\/p>\n

Artificial Intelligence is a thorny subject for a number of reasons. As technology users struggle to integrate AI into their workflows at the behest of their employers and the techno-cultural shift occurring, and Ms. Gayton began by three scenarios in which professionals who are using AI may run into issues, detailed the laws and ethical requirements <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
